Motors in this type of devices are usually not larger than 4kW - depending on the model chosen. When processing the element, a large amount of dust is created, therefore it is necessary to use an extraction system. Some grinders already have a built-in fan.

Wide belt sander
These grinders process both wide and narrow elements in the range from 30 cm to 136 cm, and the length of these elements is unlimited. Unlike long belt sanders, wide belt sanders have greater functionality. Their structure is more complicated, but the quality of processing is more precise. The quality of workmanship consists of such elements as: a shoe, a calibration roller, a cleaning brush, which together form aggregates on which the sanding belt is attached. These machines may have one or more aggregates. Each unit can be fitted with a belt with a different gradation, thanks to which we get a fully sanded element. Usually, each generator is driven by a separate engine.
Wide-belt sanders may have additional functions, such as: Vacuum pump, paper blowing, microprocessor display of the grinding height, belt centering, positionometer, etc. In order to obtain the best grinding effect, each grinder of this type should work with a very good quality extraction system.
