- At the level of the upper heads there are pressure rollers with a feed drive. The feed consists of metal inlet gear wheels, pull wheels, sometimes double or even triple, while the outlet wheels are rubber. The pressure of the feed rollers is pneumatic, i.e. on air. Consequently, a compressor is also needed for the machine to work. Older models have feed on chains, while in new machines on Cardan shafts.
