Castor 500 provides quick, simple and precise cuts to size, which increases production efficiency, reduces costs, and thanks to the use of a movable cover, it increases work safety. The Castor 500 optimizer performs cross-cutting of the material into chisels of a specific length, eliminating material defects marked with a fluorescent crayon and using a crayon reading sensor (optional).

The drive unit is based on a solid steel structure, equipped with a powerful, bearing drive shaft. The drive unit is an efficient and powerful 6 kW motor. The poly V-belt drive eliminates losses in the transmission of power from the engine to the shaft and allows the use of a disc with a diameter 500 mm and a height of up to 160 mm, or a height of 100 mm with an extremely large material width of 350 mm.
The rocker arm is driven by a pneumatic cylinder with a cutting feed rate of 2,5[m/s], material max. 200×60 mm, cutting time about 0,4s - standard
or a connecting rod with a servomotor, (cutting feed rate 2 [m/s], material max. 160×30 mm), cutting time about 0,2 s - option.

Castor 450 optimizer in the version of material feeding from left to right. Optionally, the length of the input material is 6250 mm. On the output side, pneumatic punches and a roller table for waste segregation.

The machine can be equipped with (option):
– full optimization system
– cutting system with fluorescent crayon reader
– receiving table with punches for sorting material on the receiving table
– feeding table with a length of 4500 / 5300 / 6250 / 7600mm
