PRODUCT FEATURES
The DT-3 lathe-milling machine is a multifunctional machine tool designed for forming wood according to a template. Depending on the type of aggregate used, the processing can be carried out with turning knives or milling cutters (disc or finger).
A wide range of activities allows, among other things, for making circular, polygonal, helical elements, so-called springs and many others according to the user's idea and capabilities. The machine tool guarantees reproduction and repeatability of the shape of the workpieces.
Is a production machine for serial machining.
The lathe-milling machine is made of a cast iron bed located on two stable legs. On the bed there is a headstock with a drive motor. Mounting the motor on the articulated plate allows the tension of the spindle driving the spindle. The tailstock moving on the bed guideways is locked with two screws. Copying takes place through a support and a milling unit mounted on it or a turning device and a template, which is placed on the back strip. Depending on the aggregate used, the bar with the copy can be set at any angle in the 0-90 ° range. The machine tool support has a universal plate that enables quick changeover and transition from turning to milling work or vice versa by exchanging machining units. It is driven by the engine or by a handwheel. Execution of polygonal, spiral or other elements with complex shapes is possible thanks to the integrated system: support, drive shaft, gear box, index disc, spindle.
