PRODUCT FEATURES
An efficient screw compressor is an important element of compressed air installation in all industrial applications based on pneumatic solutions. It is essential for both medium and large industrial operations where a continuous flow of air must be ensured. It is highly inadvisable if the pressure in the system drops while painting a car, working with metal or during other demanding tasks. It can be assumed that devices from 20 hp offer enough power, ease of use and sufficient airflow to cope with even the most demanding tasks. The machines can be optionally connected to ventilation ducts, significantly reducing the costs of space heating. Compressors of this series require a connection to the compressed air system to work properly.
Direct Driven 1:1
The APS 50 X 2-Stage IVR compressor is equipped with an innovative "Direct Driven" drive, which allows 100% transfer of engine power to the compression system. V-belts, reduces power losses and the need for their cyclical replacement. The use of "Direct Driven" resulted in an increase in the rigidity of the structure of the integrated motor and screw module, which significantly reduced the vibration level of the compressor. Thanks to the innovative direct drive, electricity consumption is over 4% lower than other solutions.
Two-stage Screw Module
Two-stage screw blocks are the most innovative technology in the field of compression. Two modules, integrated with each other, constitute one compression system, divided into two stages. A 3:1 pressure ratio between stages 1 and 2 minimizes compression recovery, greatly increasing efficiency. The entire compression process in two stages is an isothermal process and makes the efficiency, and thus - savings up to 15% compared to the classic, single-stage compression.
Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors
The APS 50 X 2-Stage IVR compressor is equipped with a drive unit with energy efficiency class IE3 (according to the IEC 60034-30-1 standard, equivalent to the Polish standard PN-EN 60034-30-1) - Premium Class. The motor is characterized by a high power factor and a low level of dissipated power. They have the ability to work in a wide frequency range (from 1 to 200 Hz), which is why they work very well in the version with an inverter. High torque, load and temperature resistance make the APS 50 X 2-Stage IVR motor durable and designed for continuous use. The combined design of the screw module and the motor has resulted in no need for bearings in the motor, which significantly reduces future maintenance costs.
The modern generation of IVR inverters
The IVR inverters installed in the APS 50 X 2-Stage IVR screw compressor are characterized by low energy consumption and a wide frequency range that they achieve. Electromagnetic compatibility (regardless of frequency) is guaranteed by built-in EMC backfeed filters. The compact housing and tight ventilation ducts protect the inverter against dust and moisture. The APS 50 X 2-Stage IVR compressor works in a variable-speed, intelligently controlled mode, thanks to which it adjusts the speed and energy consumption to the current demand for compressed air. The use of smooth start (Star-Delta) will allow you to achieve 30% electricity savings compared to fixed-speed compressors
Optimum cooling
The oil and compressed air cooling system perfectly fulfills its task of maintaining an appropriate and stable temperature. Two-channel coolers in the APS 50 X 2-Stage IVR compressor are placed directly at the outlet grille, so as not to heat the inside of the device, and to enable optimal heat dissipation and subsequent recovery. The fan has precisely profiled blades, which forces the flow of a large amount of cooling air. The fan motor is operated by a control panel that runs the fan only when necessary. The adjustable minimum and maximum temperature range forces the fan to operate or stop, thus optimizing energy consumption for the cooling process. Smart energy efficiency is our priority.
