How does a horizontal drill work?

Depending on the model, there are two types of horizontal drills.
- Horizontal drilling machine with a drilling device that moves towards the material – the drilling unit is adjusted front/back using a lever. Therefore, the workpiece is mounted on the drilling table, after which the tool is moved towards the material to make a hole. After making the slot, the drilling unit returns to the starting point. The machine table is adjusted up/down, right/left, and also at an angle.
- Horizontal drilling machine with material fed to the drilling apparatus – unlike the above-mentioned option, in this case the material moves towards the tool. The drilling unit is fixed, while the table top is fully adjustable, thanks to which the workpiece moves towards the drill during operation.
Additionally, the drill can have larger tables, which provide greater stability when machining large elements or long holes such as doors. It is also possible to install more material clamps. The motors can be available in two versions: 230V or 400V - depending on the customer's needs.
