What is the difference between banzega and krajzegą?

At the very beginning, we will explain to you the meaning of banzega and krajzega.
Depending on the region of Poland, the names of machines may vary.

The names we are talking about today are taken from German - banzega means a band saw, and krajzega means a circular saw.
The band saw is also known as a jigsaw, band saw, band saw, banzega, or band saw, and the circular saw is also known as: table saw, circular saw, cut-off saw.

What is banzega?

Banzeg, i.e. a band saw, is a carpentry machine used for rectilinear or curvilinear cutting in hard and soft wood, as well as in some wood-based materials. These machines have a simple structure and take up little space in the carpentry shop.
They are made of a solidly constructed body, in the center of which are mounted two wheels on which the cutting band is mounted.
Their spacing is regulated in order to properly tension the cutting tool.
Between the wheels there is a table top, which is usually adjustable at an angle, so you can cut the material at an angle.
These saws are powered by electric motors 230V or 400V, the choice of which is adjusted depending on the processed material and its quantity.

What is Krajzega?

Krajzega - circular saw (also known as: table saw, jigsaw, saw blade, circular saw, circular saw, curly saw) is used for longitudinal, transverse and angled cuts of wood, wood-based materials, as well as some metals with the appropriate adjustment of the cutting tool, i.e. the blade.
The saw is made of a solid body with a built-in spindle on which the saw blade is attached.
This spindle is powered by an electric motor. These saws can have side carriages, which are useful for cutting longer elements.
Krajegi have one or more rotation speeds.

What are the differences between Banzega and Krajzega?

  1. The fundamental difference between the circular saw and the band saw is a type of tool set up - in the band saw it is a cutting band, while in the circular saw blade there is a round blade with teeth.
  2. Building - banzega is made of a high body with two wheels, between which the top is attached. Table saws have a built-in spindle under the table top, beyond which the saw blade protrudes.
  3. Type of cut - tapes cut rectilinear, curved and at an angle, while circular saw blades only in a straight line and at an angle.
  4. Cutting height - in band saws, the cutting height is higher compared to circular saws. It can reach up to 50 cm.
